AVP/USA is an association of community based groups and prison based groups offering experiential workshops in personal growth and creative conflict management.  The national organization provides support for the work of these local groups.

Friends for a Non-Violent World (FNVW)
Friends for a Non-Violent World is a Quaker-inspired organization of people who affirm the dignity inherent in each human being.  We share a commitment to advancing non-violence as an ethic for honoring human dignity and a strategy for achieving peace and justice. 

AVP Peaceful Parenting Yahoo Group

The AVP Peaceful Parenting Yahoo Group is open to anyone who has participated in at least an AVP mini-workshop and is interested in being open to transforming power in their family relationships--especially parent/child relationships.  Participants in the group can share questions, sucess stories, resources and event announcements through the group.  We engage with each other using the cooperative agreement common to AVP workshops and the yahoo group provides an opportunity to practice community building based on the agreement. 

The Redemption Center

The Redemption Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit, faith-based, social service agency.  The Center specializes in providing safe, affordable and drug free transitional housing to formerly incarcerated individuals who are being discharged from institutional settings such as correctional facilities, substance abuse treatment programs and the shelter system.
