Violence comes in many forms—from put-downs and dismissal of ourselves and others to the taking of human life.

AVP's grassroots, volunteer program is dedicated to reducing violence in our lives, homes, schools, prisons and society.

Participants in the advanced level workshop must have first completed a basic level AVP workshop. Participants in the training for facilitators workshop must have first completed both the basic and the advanced level workshops.

Director of Mercy Dreamweavers in San Pedro Sula and the AVP Coordinator for Honduras.

Nelly organizes women through social justice initiatives, coops, credit unions, skill building and conflict resolution trainings.

She will speak about human rights violations, USA involvement in critical issues of water and mining rights, and how AVP has sustained her work.

Nelly was a keynote presenter at the 2011 AVP International Gathering.

She speaks boldly and passionately about the freedom - without fear - to heal a world full of violence.
