What are the AVP workshops?
"The workshop helps individuals develop basic conflict resolution skills to help them de-escalate conflicts."
What is Transforming Power?
One of the key concepts of all AVP Workshops is “Transforming Power.” This is an inner spiritual power that we all have and that can help us discover nonviolent solutions.
The AVP workshops provide tools to get in touch with this power such as: respecting ourselves, caring for others, thinking before reacting, looking for common ground, listen before making judgments, basing your position on truth, be ready too revise your position if it is wrong, and using surprise and humor.
